Owners of holiday homes comply with new regulations. Under the new decree, properties used for holiday rentals must be registered as holiday accommodation. The number of applications to register a property by the end of April increased more than 700%.
There have been 1730 applications for registrations, compared with just 240 in the same period of 2015. On Wednesday 11.05.2016 is the first day when the registrations numbers will be assigned, enabling owners to rent their holiday homes legally without the assigned number.
The new decree does not allow to market properties through any public channels, such as holiday platforms, travel agents or Real Estate Agents without this registration number.
